Neural Circuit Function Research Core, Laboratory for Motor Learning Control
(Team Leader: Dr. Soichi Nagao)
Our laboratory is interested in the neural mechanisms underlying the motor learning by the cerebellum and its interaction with other brain areas. We use combined molecular biological, morphological, electrophysiological and behavioral approach to elucidate the synaptic mechanisms which are involved in the acquisition and maintenance of motor memory.

The candidate for a research scientist's position should be a PhD holder in related fields, and the candidate for a technical staff's position should be an expert of the biological technique used in neuroscience research. We welcome those who have experience in neuroscience research.

Full-time position with an annually renewable contract up to 5 years or through the end of the project based on the evaluation. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Commuting and housing allowances will be provided. Social insurance will be applied. Days off includes public holidays, New Year's holidays (Dec. 29 - Jan 3), and RIKEN Foundation Day.
These and other provisions are in accordance with RIKEN regulations.
